A Night in Jungle

Say Hi to the night which I came back from Team Building activity in Jeram Besu, Pahang. It's a 3 days and 2 night activity and there were so many things that I would like to record down here. Therefore, I guess this will be a very long post and if you are able to read all, I hope you will understand the power of feeling. Hahaha.....

The first day when reached the camp site, we have a jungle survival class because we were going to stay a night in the jungle. The knowledge included the method to use compass, map reading, set up a camp site and etc. I did actually learnt all the knowledges during my attachment to National Service and that time I even have a few nights in jungle. Therefore, it's not a problem for me.....

Everything seems to be similar with the jungle survival in National Service. We need to find the camp site that has been allocated for us by using map, carried all the foods, water, shirts and etc. The different things were National Service's jungle survival was longer. However, this time, the jungle survival that I experience was not only about survival. It involved a war whereby we need to fight with 2 other teams and 1 terrorist team (role played by Jeram Besu's Minority). Missions were to grab the other team's flag, fighting using whitewash (water mixed with chalk) where the management has packed 200 packets for each team.....

The tour started on 3 p.m but I am not really want to share in detail about the tour. I just wanted to say that through the journey, I have gained back a lot of old feeling!!!

During the way we travel to our camp site, my team experienced the attack by terrorist, pass through bushes in the hard way, saw different extraordinary insects, touch the thousand years old giant tree. But all these sounded normal to me because what I seen in NS was definitely more than that. However, the most unforgettable scene for me was the scene whereby a couple of butterflies flying together in front of me. They were the same species, in yellow color with dark spot. Tell you something weird, reflect back the time during my NS's jungle survival, I remember I did saw a couple of butterflies flying together in front of me too and that time, they were blue color butterflies with some dark line. OMG, when I saw the scene 3 day ago, I was like damm shocked and I was actually hang in there for a while. What a coincidence scenario that happened again after about 6 years!!! Anyway, I don't know whether the yellow butterflies were a lovely couple or they were siblings. Anyway, my selfishness perceived that they were couple. The only unfortunate thing was that I were not able to bring camera for the activity.....

When we reached the camp site, just do the basic things. Clean up the site, set up camp, camp fire and after that we took the first mover activity whereby we searched for other's team camp site and launched an attack. Ooo yaa, I gained a new experience which I don't get during my NS. Guess what??? I was attacked by leeches. Our camp site in fact was full with leeches and I got 3 leeches injured spots. 1 was on my back and my T-shirt was actually full with blood. Hahaha. Why I didn't experience this during my NS??? It's because during my NS, I worn a set of protective army armour while this time, I only worn T-shirt and sport shoes. Nothing special regarding this matter, it's just for the purpose of memory.....

At the night time, all the teams continued to launched attack, war against each other and it was quite a hard way because we all depend on torchlight. Situation turned worst when our strategy was to off the torchlight to avoid enemy from spotting us. I guessed everyone was enjoying the attack by whitewash. Hahaha.....

The war was actually to train the teamwork between 3 teams. First, all the 3 teams were defeated by the terrorist team. The terrorist team which role played by minority was really strong as they were all already familiar with the land structure in jungle. They can even shoot me by not using any torchlight. Anyway, at last all the 3 teams combined together and we gained the victory. After the victory, it's time to rest and it's the time which I have waited. I am not waited to rest but I am waited to gain back the old feeling. Guess what feeling it is??? Hahaha.....

It's actually a situation whereby I am trying to sense the feeling of midnight jungle and I really get back the same feeling as I am in my NS's jungle survival. I did these things:

1) When everyone was sleeping, I took my torchlight, walk around to observe the power of natural in the jungle. I shall say myself as a very lucky person. Know what I saw??? I found a very big spider on a tree and it's extremely nice spider web. OMG, if you see the spider web, you will definitely shocked. It was such a big and perfect spider web that I ever seen in my life. Anyway, I don't observe much because I am afraid that my torchlight is disturbing the habitat =)

2) Then I found a small snake inside the hole of a giant tree. Hohoho. I guessed this was my most lucky finding. It was just a small snake, not move at all and the special thing was, it possessed a very beautiful skin. The skin was in black color with some yellow spots. I can see that it's pair of eyes was shining when my torchlight was on. Again, I don't observe long because I don't feel like to disturb the animal in the jungle. Every life got their own living. It's enough to see a beautiful thing for once =)

3) Laying on the jungle's land and look up high at the sky. Trust me, you won't able to see any stars on the sky but you will see are the many different leaves of the many different big trees. You will able to get a sense of relaxation =)

4) Try to sense the quiet situation, listen to the many different sounds in jungle and most probably you will heard the basic 3 sounds. Sounds from birds, frogs and silkworms. Try to listen it not by your ear, but with your heart. You will realized that they were actually singing because each time when they came out with a sound, it got a tempo. Just like 1,2,3,4.....1,2,3,4.....1,2,3,4. And when you listen all the sounds together with your heart, you will realized that they were all together in a music band. Unbelievable??? Believe me, I was a musician, when you listen by using your heart, you will heard something that ordinary persons don't hear =)

Basically, all these things that I have done brought me back the feeling when I was in NS's jungle survival because I did the same things too. Only things that different were I don't see any gigantic spider and snake. But i remembered that time, I saw an insect which move like a robot =)

Typically, these were what I did on the first day. The second day when we went out from the jungle, then we have water confident activity and we have a white water rafting. The water confident is normal for me because I already know how to swim after NS. But for the white water rafting, it was entirely a new and excited experience. I can't believe I got a chance to experience this as I can only see the activity in TV. The following activities were feedback on the jungle survival, business trading games and space ship game. I love the business trading game. It was a game where you need to trade items with other group by using the information that you have. In the end, value for the item will be calculated based on latest market price and the group with highest value will win. I am the leader for my team and even though I can't meet the objective but we got number 2 among the 7 groups and I am quite happy with the achievement =)

Space ship game is game whereby everyone was blindfolded and we need to look for an item assigned to on a field. After found the item, we need to put the item according to the shape set by facilitator. It's not easy because there were total of 24 participants and not easy to coordinate.....

Basically, that's all the programs customized for us and I did simplified it in my post. Just wanted to recorded the feeling that I got from the jungle survival. Ooo yaa, on the second day, we were actually staying in a resort called Country View Recreation Park. Inside the park, there were some animals park for visitors to visit. I saw a special animal which can only be founded in Australia. It's called Slow Lori. This cute animal makes me think back of the "huge eyes" animal in the movie Bed Time Stories and that's make me think of Calix. Hahaha. I think the producer used the Slow Lori concept and apply in the movie. Hmmm, got a call from mom few days before I enter the program. I requested a plan for a family trip to Australia. Huhuhu. If this plan is success, then there were 3 objectives to visit Australia.

1) To see the shy shy koala bear.

2) To jump together with Kangaroo.

3) To see the cute cute Slow Lori.

Just now got a luxury dinner with colleagues. Tasted a very nice mint ice cream. It's free and I tasted a total of 7 scoops. Hohoho, wonderful.....

Lastly, thanks to bank for organizing a Team Building activity and thanks to all the Accordia's professional facilitators of the program. Thanks very much for giving me a chance to get a feeling that I have waited for so long. Blessing~~~

Words for jungle and animals

1) Jungle - I am someone who preserve the natural of the earth and I don't really cut off any tree or branches. All the materials used for camp fire were all dead tree branches. The only pollution was the smoke generated from camp fire. We have no choice but to avoid animal attack and thus, I sincerely apologize for any offence. I Love Jungle.....

2) Gigantic Spider - Your web was really strong and your size was really huge. Hopefully, your habitat won't be disturb and if I have disturb you for the night, I can only say, I am sorry.....

3) Nice skin Snake - You got a nice skin and pair of bright eyes. I don't really know what is hibernate but I would like to ask you a question. Are you hibernating??? Hahaha.....

4) Lovely Couple Butterflies - How many times you blink your eyes then only you were able to fly??? Or shall I ask, how many times both of you have eyes contact with each other then only you 2 were able to fly together???

Say Hi to the night before I get my salary. It's 22th of February today, quite a nice date. Don't know why I love the 22th very much. Hmmm, perhaps it's because of my birth date which fall on 22th of June. In other words, there are 4 more months to go before my 24 years old's birthday. Wondering where am I going to celebrate my birthday for this year. K.T??? K.L??? Or any other states??? Well, I think after my 2010 birthday, my birthday for every year onwards will be a memorable date for me. Hmmm.....

Look at my previous update on Valentine's Day, I just realized that I have not update this blog for about 8 days. Many things happened in these 8 days. There was a day where I broke my promise, there was a day I experienced the lousiest presentation in my life, there was a day where I am not able to answer even a single question threw by the Heads of Department during the presentation, there was a day where I was shoot by the Heads of Department for every single presentation slide, there was a day where I had a Bak Kut Teh tour in Klang with colleagues, there was a day where I watched Sanctum and I Love Hong Kong, there was a day I found a nice purple color's tie, there was a day where I had a full Domino's Pizza dinner.....

Got a chat with Sharon few days ago and I did planned for a gathering with Calix and gang on this coming weekend. But when I just entered into office today, saw an email said that I need to attend a team building activity in Pahang from Thursday until Saturday. Therefore, the plan spoiled. The plan to watch the many new movies and have great meals spoiled. Hmmm, I am going to be posted on 4th of March and I don't really know which states that I will be posted to. Just hope that I am able to have a meet with the best friends before the posting. Blessing~~~

Finally, I attended the most serious post mortem session for the CAP2 in training center today. Discussed about the training program, examinations, presentation and so forth. I mentioned that I experienced the lousiest presentation in my life. But when I see to the comments and feedbacks provided by the 3 Heads of Department today, they actually gave some comments which were not really bad and my group still able to pass the projects. It's out of my expectation. Anyway, I am no longer the one who care about my performance, no longer the one who was excellent. I just want to live my greatest life, search for the many old feelings that I am enjoy in. Sometimes, I am wondering, how good is it if money can buy back a feeling. But then think from another perspective, if a feeling can be value in the form of money, then it might not be a great feeling anymore and I am no longer searching for it.....

I did finished the drama The Seventh Day two days ago. It was a great drama especially on the last episode. I like the last episode because it provided an opportunity for me to get back the old feeling. Hmmm, I am a dreamer and needless to say, feeling is one of the utmost crucial criteria in my life. Well, I shall continue my life tour in searching for the great feeling in life.....

The 14th Day

Say Hi to the Valentine's night. Well, I have became a home boy in these few days. The plan to visit Muar for the last weekend spoiled due to my unrecoverable sickness. Calix did called me and said that his father don't mind and ask me to go. But I have still rejected. Anyway, I was regretted for my decision because in fact, I realized that I have fully recovered after he called me. I think if the plan was on, it should be an enjoyable weekend. Hmmm, never mind, going to revisit again before my posting on 4th of March.....

Nothing special happened in these few days. I have watched few movies and drama. Watched Love in Disguise few times. It's just a simple movie but it provided me something. It provided me a great feeling, a great memories.....

Talk about drama, I watched an old Hong Kong Drama named The Seventh Day. It talked about the most beautiful seventh day in August. Another simple drama. Well, seven days were not long but if it were filled with sweet memories, then it worth more than anything.....

Today is Valentine's Day. Colleagues did asked for a movie session just now but I have rejected. Why??? I also don't know. I just know that I was rushing back home just now, rushing for the drama and rushing to get the wonderful feeling.....

Going to have a project presentation in this Wednesday. It is a very important presentation whereby I am going to present in front of the senior management of the bank. Tomorrow going to search for a tie to suit my new bought shirt which I am going to wear during the presentation. Is there any nice purple tie??? Hopefully I am able to get it. Bought a set of cufflinks 2 days ago. It was a guitar shape cufflinks and hopefully it brings me great luck when I cuff it on my shirt on that day.....

Ooo yaa, saw this picture when I on my Google Chrome. Don't know why I was attracted towards the picture. Perhaps it's because I am a color blind and the colors that it applied were just as simple as I can seen. Red, blue and green. Am I right??? I am a color blind, so please correct me if I am wrong. By the way, it's a good concept to apply the 3 primary colors. The combination of any 2 colors create a secondary colors. Just like the combination of a pair of lovers create a love story. Anyway, I think I shall Google the word, Love. Hahaha.....

Another Dream

Say Hi to the night for Bai Tian Gong. Well, I think I shall mention the same words again - time flies.....

I got into a dream last night. Still remembered I have a weird dream 10 days ago on 01.02.2011 and after 10 days, this dream came. It's not appropriate to reveal the dream as I am afraid it will generate misunderstanding issue. What I could say is, inside the dream, there was a people I wished to see and there was a people I don't wished to see. There was an incident I wished to happened and there was an incident I wished not to happened. Well, after the dream, I just don't feel good, until now.....

A question was raised. Do you ever believe in dream??? I create an example. Let's say you lost your beloved watch and you couldn't found it. But then while you were sleeping, you got into a dream and inside the dream, you saw the watch is now located under your table. So, when you wake up, are you going to have a look under the table??? If you don't mind, share your answer by putting in a comment. Hahaha. In my dream last night, I got an answer for a question which I haven't get for a long time. Now, back to reality, I am thinking of whether to believe the answer in the dream or not.....

Today is not really a good day. In the morning, when I was taking LRT to training center, the LRT encounter some technical problem and it keep on stopping. In the end, I miss the bus and I have to take cab to the center with other colleagues who have the bad luck as well. Hmmm, is it the time to come out with a car??? Haizzz, I am just lazy to thinking of the car issue. What car to buy??? What color to take??? Which bank to finance??? How much down payment to put??? So many questions to answer, just put aside first.....

Also, just now after my dinner, I went to bank in some money for my beloved mom. When I put the cash into the CDM, the processing hang in half way and then it pop up with a message saying that the machine got problem. Needless to say, I don't get any receipt, the transaction failed and I don't get back my money. I really can't believe that I have such a bad luck. For so many times I used CDM, I don't encounter any problems and this time I was screwed up. Nothing can be done, I just fill up a complaint form and wait for those tigers to call me.....

During the training today, I met with Uncle again. I did mentioned about Uncle in my previous update titled Everything Revealed. Uncle likes to share his thinkings and insights of life with us. I really love to listen to his sharing because I feel that both of us shared the same characteristic where we love to think about life.....

Today he shared with us about relationship between guy and girl. He mentioned that your parent cannot control or prohibit you from having sex with your partner. Please try hard to control yourself from the temptation. As a guy, if you cannot control yourself, make sure that you responsible to the girl who you did it with. And for girl, if you are not careful and accidentally get pregnant, can you imagine how sad is your parents??? When there is a pregnancy, the one who get tarnish will always be the girl. Why??? Because the society now is in fact practicing discrimination. They will look the guy with normal eyesight but they will always look the girl who pregnant with a "special" eyesight. Nowadays, regardless of how sporting and open the society is, even they said it is normal for this thing to happen, but in fact, they will still look the girl with "special" eyesight, thinking of the future life of the girl. Therefore, please consider the feeling of your parents and family before you commit. So do you agree with this??? For me, I don't know whether to agree or disagree but I would say, the most crucial is - Responsibility.....

I also thank to Uncle for advising me to go back to K.T for my posting. I am still trying of finding a balance point regarding that matter. Finding a balance point in The Earth of Golds.....

Realization

Say Hi to the night of the 7th day of CNY. Well, many things happened within these few days. Just wanted to record down here.....

Went to the clinic in training center on Monday. The doctor verified that I got coughing, flu and slight fever. Hmmm, I thought I have recovered from the fever but it's not. She gave me some medicine and these few days, I worn face mask whenever I go. Just feel more comfortable to socialize with the others with a face mask. Infection to me, myself is nothing but it's not good if I spread the virus to the others. Anyway, I can feel that I am getting well soon.....

Ooo yaa, mom keep on calling me in these few days to asked me about my sickness. Hmmm, mother's nature love again. Hahaha, mom told me that she helped me to Bai Tai Sui today. Thanks very much =)

Have a reunion dinner with my god family on the past Monday night. We have a great dinner in Daorae Korean BBQ. Heard before the restaurant few months ago and now finally I have the chance to entered. Just wanted to said that, all the dishes, soups, steamboat were extremely nice. Didn't really expected that the restaurant can have such a tasty BBQ beef. Just the first slice of beef into my mouth, my mind suddenly come out with a question: What ingredients that the restaurant used to seasoned the beef??? Hahaha. Dedicated the foods to those who love Daorae and looking forward for my second time. Also, didn't forget to thanks to my god dad and god bro for the treat =)

After the dinner, we have a simple gambling session in my god sister's house. Overall, I lost RM 4. Hahaha, not much but really enjoyed the session with beloved god family =)

Just now went to shopping in G2000 with my colleagues. I bought one formal shirt in purple and one long pant in black. Hahaha, I think I have falling in love with G2000. In total, I got 5 formal G2000 shirts. The brand is in good quality and fulfill all the professional criteria as I have learnt during the grooming class. Great.....

After that, we have a Lou Sang dinner together. All the foods were not bad, unfortunately it's not really an enjoyable dinner. Hmmm, anyway, I hope great luck is with us after the Lou Sang.....

Ooo yaa, I received a call from Calix during today's lunch hour. He asked for the confirmation regarding the visitation to Muar in this weekend. Due to the reason that Chloe plan to visit Muar, He was trying to arrange if I can go together with Chloe. Haizzz, I still haven't give him answer because my sickness still not yet fully recover and therefore, it not good to spread the virus. Hopefully, I can recover before the weekend and then the plan will on. Just now saw some posts in FB and I guess there is something happen to the couple. I don't really know what happen but I sincerely pray hard that nothing bad happen and wish them a lovely Valentine's Day.....

Talk about Valentine's Day, just now when shopping in The Mines, I saw a pair of couple rings in promotion held by Tomei Jewelry. Both rings were very nice in design and prices were not really expensive, approximately RM 1k. Well, I don't know why I always get attracted to couple rings in jewelry store. Saw a nice pair too during the tour to Singapore. Hmmm, perhaps they were creative enough to capture my attention. Hmmm, now thinking back, how good is it if..........

My training will be finished in 4th of March. Every colleagues are now thinking of their future. What about me??? Going to attend an appraisal interview before the posting and now I was thinking whether to stay in K.L or to apply for a posting back to K.T. Hmmm, currently I really in dilemma. Realizing that the very first dream has already broke in last year, so is there still a need to stay in K.L??? Another consideration is, what if after 1 and 1/2 years, I really go to work in a Singapore's bank / go to pick apples in New Zealand / work in Australia, then perhaps it's just good to go back to K.T. I can spend some time with my parents. Haizzz, yes or no??? I don't know.....

During the dinner just now, I heard from a colleague from Muar who said that Muar was attacked by flood too and there were many peoples being evacuated from their houses. Sincerely pray hard and I hope those who were in Muar got the bless.....

Saw another post in FB again. Calix was involved in accident. I sincerely pray hard that he is fine and every bad things leave him.....

Say Hi to the night before my training get started again. Hmmm, believe it or not, I just reach my home in K.L. I followed my uncle's car back and the journey took us 13 hours. Today I did experienced the worst traffic jam in my life. What is the reason??? It's because all races celebrated Chinese New Year.....

Well, recently I am not really feeling well. I am not sure whether it's because of the flu and coughing or there is any other reasons lie behind. I hardly get headache but recently I did experienced it frequently. Just easily feel tired and moodless. Hopefully it's just because of insufficient sleep and not other reasons. Also, hopefully I can recover faster. Blessing~~~

Just a simple update for tonight. Tomorrow going to have another reunion dinner with my god family. I am looking forward for it =)

As I Lender of Luck, again, I am disbursing my luck to the someone. I am disbursing my great luck and not my bad disease. Hahaha.....

Say Hi to the night before I leave K.T. Well, last night have a long post and I just realized that the post consisted of many typing errors. Hahaha, going to make some amendments later.....

Today just wanted to have a simple update. Hmmm, just now morning, few best friends visited to my house. Have a nice chatting day in my house. They mentioned that I have a frequent update of my blog and it seems like I am writing my daily diary here. Hahaha. Well, can't deny that The Earth of Golds is my diary. But there are no any special purposes, just wanted to put down some records, to shout out my feeling, sharing and concerns as well. But nowadays, I have not update it daily, perhaps once in a few days or in any special occasions or mood =)

After the visitation to my house, they asked me to followed them for other visitations. At first, I rejected due to my flu and coughing. But at last I still followed them because they were too good in pursuing. Hahaha. By the way, along the visitation, really thanks to the caring and concern from all my best friends. They gave me Fisherman's Friend, prohibited me from taking heaty foods, granted me 100 Plus, plain water, Kiwi Fruit Snack and etc.....

Finished the visitation at about 6 p.m. I went to my grandfather house to meet with the huge family on my mother's side because we have another reunion dinner. As usual, it's a simple dinner and chatting night =)

That's all for today. Ooo yaa, I take this chance to apologize to Fong Li, Fuh Xiong, Tai Koon, Pei Ting, Kexin and Shin Ying because I am not able to join the late supper. Today was really a tired day because I just slept for 3 hours last night. Anyway, guys, don't worry, I will remember the round table that I have promised. Hahaha =)
